TOMMASI – Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2019
Veneto, Italy
Tommasi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2019 is a classic expression of Amarone—rich, powerful, and deeply complex, crafted using the traditional appassimento method that defines this iconic wine of the Veneto.
Made primarily from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, the grapes are carefully dried for several months before fermentation. This process concentrates the flavours and sugars, producing a wine of great intensity, depth, and structure.
Deep garnet-red in colour. The bouquet reveals aromas of ripe black cherry, dried plum, fig, and sweet spice, with hints of cocoa, tobacco, and balsamic notes. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, offering flavours of dark fruit, raisin, chocolate, and warm spices, supported by firm yet polished tannins and a long, warming finish.
