Originally created to highlight Napa Valley’s heritage of Zinfandel-based blends, The Prisoner combines several grape varieties to create a wine that is full-bodied, expressive, and intensely flavorful.
Deep, inky purple in color. The nose bursts with ripe blackberry, dark cherry, and plum, layered with notes of vanilla, baking spice, cocoa, and toasted oak. The palate is rich and velvety, showing flavors of black fruit, mocha, cinnamon, and sweet spice, with soft tannins and a long, smooth finish.
