Tears of Llorona Extra Añejo Tequila
Jalisco, Mexico
Crafted by legendary master distiller Germán González, Tears of Llorona is widely considered one of the finest extra añejo tequilas ever produced. Named after the famous Mexican folklore of La Llorona (“The Weeping Woman”), this tequila is aged and blended with extraordinary precision, resulting in a spirit that rivals the complexity of the world’s finest aged whiskies and cognacs.
Made from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave harvested in the highlands of Jalisco. The tequila is distilled and then aged for five years in a unique combination of barrels previously used for Scotch whisky, sherry, and cognac, creating exceptional depth and elegance.
Deep amber in color with brilliant clarity. Aromas of dried fruit, dark chocolate, roasted agave, oak, vanilla, and spice rise from the glass. The palate is incredibly rich and layered, showing toffee, caramel, roasted nuts, cocoa, orange peel, and baking spice, with remarkable smoothness and balance. The finish is long, warm, and luxuriously complex.
