Veneto, Italy
Style:
A monumental yet profoundly elegant Amarone, crafted in the traditional Quintarelli style. This wine balances power, complexity, and finesse, showcasing the estate’s legendary attention to detail and long ageing philosophy.
Appearance:
Deep garnet with brick and ruby reflections.
Nose:
Extraordinarily complex and layered. Aromas of dried cherry, fig, and plum intertwine with dark chocolate, espresso, sweet tobacco, and leather, followed by notes of balsamic herbs, cedar, clove, and a touch of volatile lift that adds freshness and intrigue.
Palate:
Full-bodied, rich, and impeccably structured. Concentrated flavours of dried red and black fruits unfold alongside cocoa, anise, spice, and savoury undertones. Despite its intensity, the wine is remarkably balanced, with vibrant acidity and fine, polished tannins providing lift and precision.
Finish:
Exceptionally long and resonant, with lingering notes of dark fruit, spice, balsamic depth, and elegant bitterness.
An outstanding Amarone vintage, producing wines of ripeness, harmony, and longevity. The 2015 Quintarelli shows both immediate appeal and immense ageing potential.
