Knights Valley, Sonoma County — Estate Vineyard
Style: A powerful yet refined mountain-grown Chardonnay, known for its precision, richness, and vibrant minerality. One of the most sought-after Chardonnays in California.
Appearance: Bright pale gold with green reflections; youthful and luminous.
Nose: Intensely aromatic with layers of Meyer lemon, ripe pear, white peach, and green apple, supported by notes of honeysuckle, jasmine, fresh brioche, wet stone, and subtle vanilla and toasted almond from fine French oak.
Palate: Full-bodied yet beautifully balanced. A core of citrus, apricot, and orchard fruit is wrapped in a creamy, silky texture. The mountain vineyard contributes tension and saline minerality, giving the wine both richness and lift.
Finish: Long, pure, and elegant, with lingering notes of citrus zest, hazelnut, and flinty minerality.
Rich and concentrated, but never heavy
Beautiful integration of oak
Electric acidity that keeps the wine fresh and age-worthy
