Pauillac de Latour 2019 is the third wine of the esteemed Château Latour, produced from younger vines within the estate’s Grand Cru Classé vineyards in Pauillac. As with all wines of Latour, it benefits from the same meticulous vineyard care and precision winemaking that define the estate’s legendary quality.
The 2019 vintage reveals a deep garnet color and a refined, expressive bouquet of blackcurrant, graphite, and violets, complemented by subtle notes of cedar, spice, and fresh tobacco. On the palate, it is supple, elegant, and beautifully balanced, with fine-grained tannins supporting layers of ripe dark fruit and mineral tension.
The finish is long and harmonious, with lingering notes of cassis and earthy complexity — a testament to the classic character of Pauillac and the precision of Château Latour. While approachable in its youth, it will age gracefully for a decade or more, gaining further depth and nuance over time.
