La Spinetta Garretti 2021 is a modern yet terroir-driven expression of Barolo, sourced from the Garretti vineyard in the commune of Grinzane Cavour. Known for producing wines with both structure and accessibility, this Barolo reflects La Spinetta’s polished, elegant style.
Made from 100% Nebbiolo, the wine is fermented with precision and aged in a combination of French oak (partly new) to enhance texture and complexity while preserving the character of the vineyard.
Bright garnet with ruby highlights. The nose reveals aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and rose petals, layered with notes of spice, licorice, orange peel, and subtle oak. The palate is refined, balanced, and approachable for a young Barolo, offering flavours of wild berries, tobacco, and earthy nuances, with polished tannins and a long, elegant finish.
