Château Montrose La Dame de Montrose 2019 is the elegant second wine of the renowned Saint‑Estèphe estate, crafted from younger vines and parcels not used in the Grand Vin. It expresses the classic structure of Saint-Estèphe while offering a more approachable and refined style.
Produced with the same meticulous care as the flagship wine of Château Montrose, La Dame de Montrose reflects the estate’s gravelly soils and proximity to the Gironde estuary, which contributes to the wine’s depth, freshness, and balance.
Deep garnet in colour. Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum, layered with notes of cedar, tobacco, graphite, and subtle spice. The palate is rich yet elegant, showing flavours of dark berries, cocoa, and roasted herbs, supported by polished tannins and vibrant acidity, finishing long and structured.
Bordeaux blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot

Aged in French oak barrels
Structured, refined, and age-worthy
Excellent with roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck, grilled meats, and aged cheeses.
Approachable now with decanting, but capable of aging gracefully for 10–15 years.
