Structure:
Full-bodied with velvety texture, outstanding integration, and remarkable smoothness. Long ageing in oak adds depth and complexity while preserving the integrity of the agave.

Finish:
Long, warm, and beautifully persistent, lingering with caramel, spice, toasted oak, dried fruit, and elegant sweetness.

Produced entirely from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave, Selección Suprema is matured for an impressive 49 months, significantly longer than the minimum ageing requirement for Extra Añejo tequila. This extended maturation develops extraordinary richness, depth, and smoothness while retaining the soul of the agave.

The result is an exceptionally elegant sipping tequila—complex enough for whisky and cognac enthusiasts while remaining unmistakably tequila at heart.

Production Notes

Unlike many modern tequilas, Herradura continues to use traditional methods including:

  • Naturally fermented agave juice
  • Slow cooking of agave
  • Copper pot distillation
  • Extended maturation in American oak barrels
