HEAVEN HILL – 18 Year Heritage Collection (2024 Release)
Kentucky, USA
Heaven Hill Heritage Collection 18 Year (2024) is an ultra-premium, limited-release bourbon showcasing some of the distillery’s oldest stocks. Part of the annual Heritage Collection series (launched in 2022), each release highlights rare, long-aged barrels selected at peak maturity.
This 2024 edition is an 18-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon, distilled in December 2005 and drawn from just 133 barrels aged in a single rickhouse.
Mashbill: 78% corn, 12% malted barley, 10% rye
Bottled at 120 proof (60% ABV)
Non-chill filtered for maximum texture and flavor
This release is essentially a cask-strength, ultra-aged expression of Heaven Hill’s classic bourbon style—often associated with the Elijah Craig profile.
Nose: Old oak, dried flowers, black tea, toasted almond, and hints of molasses
Palate: Rich and mature with vanilla, caramel, leather, charred oak, and orange oil, supported by deep spice
Finish: Long, warm, and dry with peppery spice, tannins, and lingering oak
Expect a powerful, oak-driven profile, typical of very old bourbon, with layers of sweetness, spice, and mature complexity.
Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
18 years aged (rare for bourbon at this proof)
Cask strength / high proof (120)
Rich, structured, and oak-forward
Best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open up the aromatics and soften the oak intensity.
