Distillery Notes - Gordon & MacPhail Benromach 40 Yr Old Speymalt from Macallan Distillery 1991 Cask #21602901

Aromas of ripe red apple aromas infused with fragrant clove and ginger spice. Dried fruit notes develop alongside tangerine peel and subtle beeswax polish. On the palate, orange oil gives way to a stewed raisin with spicy black pepper. Raspberry compote and walnut flavours lead to soft dried tobacco and charred oak. A full, lingering finish with festive spices.
