Sourced from old-vine Shiraz vineyards in the Barossa Valley, some dating back over a century, Amon-Ra represents the pinnacle of Glaetzer’s winemaking. The warm climate and ancient soils produce fruit of exceptional concentration and depth.
The 2021 vintage, considered outstanding, delivers both power and balance, with vibrant fruit, structure, and precision. Maturation in French oak enhances complexity while maintaining the wine’s bold character.
Tasting Notes
The nose is intense and expressive, with aromas of blackberry, plum, and dark cherry, layered with notes of dark chocolate, spice, licorice, and subtle smoky nuances.
