IDDA is the collaboration between the Gaja and Graci families, created to explore the distinctive terroirs of Mount Etna's less-developed southern slopes.
The name Idda means “she” in Sicilian dialect, an affectionate local reference to Mount Etna herself.
The vineyards rise to considerable altitude on volcanic soils, where intense Mediterranean sunlight meets cooler nights, preserving freshness and aromatic definition.
The 2025 is IDDA's first rosé release.
Nerello Mascalese provides red-fruit character and structure, Grenache contributes generosity and Mediterranean warmth, while the addition of white Carricante brings freshness, tension, and mineral definition.
The varieties are co-fermented, and the wine is matured for approximately five months in stainless steel, preserving purity and freshness.
