Dom Ruinart Rosé 2007
A glowing rosé Champagne with copper-reflected rose hue and luminous sheen. On the nose it opens with warm, roasted tones — cocoa bean, coffee — intertwined with sweet apple candy and ripe citrus fruits: tangerine, blood orange, kumquat. The palate reveals juicy red and exotic fruit flavours: damson, hibiscus, and echoes of the citrus already sensed on the nose. It’s elegant and full-bodied, yet kept lively by freshness and a refined, clean finish.
Perfect with refined dishes such as salmon tataki or marinated tuna, poached or lightly grilled poultry (veal, chicken), or for something richer like roasted game birds. Also lovely with dishes that have gentle spice or slight char, which bring out its roast and fruit contrasts.
Grape Varieties: ~80% Grand Cru Chardonnay (from Côte des Blancs & Montagne de Reims) • ~20% Grand Cru Pinot Noir (vinified as red wine)
