Pauillac, Bordeaux — First Growth
Blend: Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Cabernet Franc
Style: Opulent, structured, and impeccably polished
Appearance:
Deep, opaque garnet with vibrant purple highlights.
Nose:
Intensely aromatic and expressive. Layers of blackcurrant, cassis, and blackberry unfold alongside classic Pauillac notes of cedar, graphite, and cigar box, complemented by dark chocolate, espresso, vanilla, and sweet spice. Subtle hints of violet and incense add elegance and lift.
Palate:
Full-bodied, rich, and beautifully structured. Concentrated flavours of ripe black fruit, plum, and black cherry are framed by velvety yet powerful tannins and fresh acidity. Notes of cocoa, tobacco, and savoury oak add depth and complexity without overshadowing the fruit.
Finish:
Exceptionally long and layered, with lingering notes of cassis, spice, and refined oak.
An outstanding Bordeaux vintage marked by ripeness, balance, and precision. Mouton Rothschild 2015 combines the generosity of a warm year with remarkable structure and ageing potential.
