Château L’Eglise-Clinet 2000 is widely regarded as one of the great wines of the 2000 Bordeaux vintage and a benchmark expression of elite Pomerol. Though never officially classified due to Pomerol’s lack of a classification system, Château L’Eglise-Clinet is considered among the appellation’s elite producers and frequently rivals the region’s most celebrated names. Under the late Denis Durantou, the estate gained cult-like status for producing wines of both intellectual complexity and sensual appeal.
