Château Le Dôme 2015
Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux, France
Produced by Château Le Dôme, Château Le Dôme is a cult Right Bank Bordeaux created by Jonathan Maltus. Predominantly Cabernet Franc–based, Le Dôme is renowned for its depth, power, and modern precision. The 2015 vintage is one of the estate’s standout releases, marrying richness with remarkable balance and polish.
A bold yet refined Saint-Émilion with a modern, luxurious profile. Concentrated and structured, but impeccably balanced, combining opulence with freshness and finesse.
Appearance:
Deep, inky ruby with purple-black hues.
Nose:
Intense and expressive. Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark cherry are layered with violet, graphite, crushed stone, cocoa, cedar, and subtle sweet spice.
Palate:
Full-bodied and richly textured. Dense flavours of cassis, black plum, and blueberry are supported by powerful yet finely grained tannins and vibrant acidity. Nuances of espresso, dark chocolate, licorice, and mineral undertones add depth and complexity.
Finish:
Long, polished, and persistent, with lingering dark fruit, spice, and refined oak.
A warm, generous vintage in Bordeaux, producing wines with ripe fruit, supple textures, and immediate appeal. At Le Dôme, the vintage retains excellent freshness and structure, resulting in a wine that is both approachable and built for long-term ageing.
