Château Le Dôme 2010
Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux, France
Produced by Château Le Dôme, Château Le Dôme is a cult Right Bank Bordeaux created by Jonathan Maltus. Known for its bold, modern style and exceptional concentration, Le Dôme is predominantly Cabernet Franc–based, delivering power, precision, and remarkable ageing potential. The 2010 vintage is widely regarded as one of the estate’s greatest releases.
A powerful, modern Saint-Émilion with remarkable depth and polish. Rich and intense, yet impeccably balanced, combining Right Bank opulence with structure and finesse.
Appearance:
Deep, opaque ruby to near-black with garnet reflections.
Nose:
Intense and layered. Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry, and dark cherry are interwoven with violet, graphite, crushed stone, cedar, cocoa, and subtle exotic spice.
Palate:
Full-bodied and densely structured. Concentrated flavours of cassis, black plum, and dark berries are supported by firm yet finely grained tannins and vibrant acidity. Notes of espresso, dark chocolate, licorice, and mineral undertones add complexity and depth.
Finish:
Exceptionally long, powerful, and refined, with lingering dark fruit, spice, and polished oak.
A legendary vintage in Bordeaux. The 2010 growing season produced wines of extraordinary structure, freshness, and balance. Le Dôme 2010 combines immense concentration with precision and is built for very long-term ageing.
