Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé
Hand-harvested from the estate’s limestone slopes, the 2016 is a Merlot-led cuvée with a touch of Cabernet Franc, aged about a year in French oak with a measured proportion of new barrels.
The bouquet is vibrant and refined, layering black cherry, cassis, and plum with violet, a hint of tobacco, and subtle graphite. On the palate, it is concentrated yet poised—lush dark fruit framed by silky, fine-grained tannins, lively acidity, and discreet notes of vanilla and cocoa from the élevage. The finish is long, fresh, and elegant, approachable now yet capable of graceful aging.
