Nose:
Deep, focused, and intensely aromatic, revealing layers of blackcurrant, cassis, blackberry, graphite, cedar, cigar box, tobacco leaf, crushed gravel, and pencil shavings, intertwined with subtle spice, dark cocoa, and earthy undertones. A classic and beautifully pure Pauillac expression.
Palate:
Powerful and beautifully concentrated, showing flavours of cassis, black cherry, plum, cedar, espresso, licorice, dark chocolate, and mineral-driven graphite notes. More structured and tightly wound than the generous 2009 vintage, with remarkable purity and classical restraint.

Full-bodied with firm, finely grained tannins, vibrant acidity, and exceptional concentration. Finish:
Long, structured, and exceptionally persistent, lingering with cassis, cedar, graphite, tobacco, and crushed stone minerality. Taut, refined, and impressively focused.
