Cakebread Cabernet Sauvignon has long been regarded as one of Napa Valley's benchmark wines. Crafted from estate vineyards and carefully selected grower sites across Rutherford, Oakville, Calistoga and southern Napa Valley, it combines richness, elegance and remarkable consistency. The 2022 vintage is approachable in its youth while possessing the balance and structure to reward further cellaring.
The 2022 growing season was characterised by a mild spring, moderate summer temperatures and persistent drought conditions, naturally limiting yields and producing grapes with exceptional concentration and aromatic intensity. Careful vineyard management resulted in a wine of impressive depth, freshness and balance.
