WINEMAKER NOTES
Only the most delicate Syrah barrels are selected for this bold and intense wine. The name "Fracture" pays tribute to the calcareous soil in the vineyard, which fractures due to its limestone content. The 2019 vintage is consistent with its predecessors, boasting an inky black hue and offering deep aromas of graphite, gunpowder, and blackberry cobbler.
On the palate, the flavors echo the intense aromas, but what truly stands out is the wine's sheer power, weight, and long-lasting finish. Compared to the 2017 and 2018 vintages, the finish of the 2019 is even more pronounced, with rich notes of double espresso and seared ribeye. This vintage maintains the same elegance and intensity that has made Fracture a hallmark of Booker’s Syrah collection.
