The Blood Oath Pact 10 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a 98.6-proof double-finished blend created by master blender John Rempe to mark the series’ tenth release. It combines two rye bourbons with one finished bourbon, further matured first in Cabernet Franc barrels, which lend tart raspberry and black pepper notes, and then in Merlot casks, adding layers of red stone fruit, vanilla, cocoa, and anise. The nose shows sweet fruit, oak, rye grain, honey, and vanilla, while the palate is silky and rich with flavors of berries, honey, rye spice, white peppercorn, and balanced oak. The finish lingers with gentle vanilla, dry oak, spice, leather, and subtle stone fruits, making this release a refined and distinctive expression that elegantly merges wine-cask influence with classic bourbon character.
