Les Levrons is situated in the northern part of Puligny-Montrachet, close to the border with Meursault and immediately below some of Puligny's Premier Cru vineyards.
Bitouzet-Prieur farms approximately 0.6 hectares here, with the original vines dating to 1955 and part of the vineyard replanted in 2000.
The site produces a particularly elegant expression of Chardonnay, emphasizing citrus fruit, floral aromatics and the precise mineral character associated with Puligny-Montrachet.
The wine is matured for approximately 16 months in Burgundy barrels, with around 20–25% new oak.
The restrained use of new oak gives the Chardonnay additional texture and complexity without obscuring the freshness and mineral character of the vineyard.

Long, clean and mineral, with citrus, white flowers and a subtle saline character.
Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur Puligny-Montrachet Les Levrons 2024 is a beautifully classical expression of Puligny-Montrachet.
More refined and linear than the richer Chardonnay styles of neighbouring Meursault, Les Levrons emphasizes freshness, floral aromatics and mineral precision while retaining enough texture to give the wine genuine depth.

Drink: 2026–2035
Preferred Window: 2028–2033
The 2024 can be enjoyed young for its citrus fruit, floral character and freshness, although another 2–3 years in bottle should allow the oak, fruit and mineral structure to become more integrated.
If opening young, allow approximately 20–30 minutes in the glass or open bottle.
With bottle age, expect greater notes of hazelnut, preserved lemon, almond, gentle spice and mineral complexity.
Serving Temperature: 11–13°C
Serve in a generous white Burgundy glass.
Recommended Pairings:
Osetra Caviar · Lobster · Langoustines · Scallops · Crab · Turbot · Dover Sole · Sea Bass · Roast Chicken · Veal · Morels · Mushroom Risotto · Comté
A classic choice for customers looking for the finesse and mineral precision of Puligny-Montrachet without moving into Premier Cru pricing.
Pair with seared scallops, lobster, turbot or Dover sole. It is equally impressive with roast chicken and morels, particularly after a few years of bottle age.
Serve at approximately 12°C in a Burgundy glass and allow the wine to develop gradually in the glass.
