Billecart-Salmon Extra Brut – Le Réserve
Champagne, France

Produced by the historic Billecart-Salmon, Extra Brut Le Réserve is a precise, terroir-driven Champagne that showcases the house’s signature elegance with a drier, more mineral-focused profile. Crafted for purists, it highlights purity, tension, and finesse.

Style

A bone-dry, crisp, and highly refined Champagne. Linear and precise, emphasizing freshness, minerality, and clarity over richness or dosage.

Tasting Notes

Appearance:
Pale straw with fine, persistent bubbles.

Nose:
Fresh and restrained. Aromas of citrus zest, green apple, pear, and white flowers are layered with chalky minerality and subtle notes of almond and brioche.

Palate:
Light-to-medium bodied with razor-sharp precision. Flavours of lemon, grapefruit, and crisp orchard fruit are supported by vibrant acidity and a creamy yet taut mousse. Mineral and saline notes dominate, offering exceptional definition and purity.

Finish:
Long, dry, and incisive, with lingering citrus, chalk, and a clean saline edge.

Blend & Character

A classic blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier, crafted with very low dosage to allow the natural expression of the fruit and terroir to shine.

Drinking Window

Drink now through 2028+. Ideal for Champagne lovers who prefer a dry, gastronomic style.
