Often described as the “little Testamatta Bianco,” it is produced from the island's younger vineyards and blends Ansonica, Vermentino and Trebbiano to create a beautifully crisp white defined by citrus, white flowers and a distinctive sea-spray salinity.

Light to medium-bodied with lively acidity and excellent freshness. Six months in stainless steel preserves the purity of the fruit, while regular lees stirring adds a subtle richness and texture without compromising the wine's energetic personality.

The wine is part of an ambitious project to replant the island's dramatic, steep, terraced vineyards, with the younger vines dedicated to Casamatta Bianco. The fruit is harvested entirely by hand, then gently pressed and cool-fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness and aromatic intensity.

The 2024 growing season on Giglio Island saw moderate rainfall that helped maintain healthy grapes throughout the season, followed by warm ripening conditions. To retain acidity and aromatic freshness, the grapes were harvested slightly earlier than usual. The result is a vintage that emphasizes crispness, freshness, and intense aromatics.
The quality has already attracted critical recognition, with the 2024 receiving 92 points from Decanter, 91 points from Robert Parker and 91 points from Falstaff.

Casamatta Bianco is at its best relatively young, when its citrus, floral aromatics and distinctive maritime freshness are most vibrant. Enjoy well chilled at approximately 10–12°C.
Perfect with oysters, grilled prawns, calamari, ceviche, seafood crudo, grilled Mediterranean fish, linguine alle vongole, seafood risotto and fresh salads.
Its bright acidity and saline character make it especially successful with shellfish and seafood pasta, while its aromatic freshness also works beautifully as an aperitif on a warm afternoon.
