Bacardí Superior (often called Bacardi Light Rum) is one of the world’s most recognized white rums. First created in 1862, it helped define the modern style of light, clean rum used in many classic cocktails.
Produced from molasses and distilled through a continuous column still, Bacardí Superior is aged briefly in oak barrels and then charcoal-filtered to remove color and achieve its signature clarity and smoothness.
Crystal clear in appearance. The nose shows light vanilla, almond, and citrus with subtle hints of tropical fruit. The palate is clean and smooth, with delicate flavours of vanilla, lime, and soft oak, finishing crisp and refreshing.
