APEROL
Italy
Aperol is one of Italy’s most iconic aperitifs, created in 1919 in Padua by the Barbieri brothers. Known for its vibrant orange color and refreshing bittersweet profile, Aperol is the essential ingredient behind the world-famous Aperol Spritz.
Aperol is made from a secret blend of herbs, roots, and citrus, resulting in a light, approachable aperitivo with relatively low alcohol (11% ABV), perfect for daytime and pre-dinner drinking.
Bright orange in colour. The nose shows aromas of orange zest, herbs, and light botanicals. On the palate it is refreshing and gently bitter, with flavours of sweet orange, rhubarb, and herbal notes, finishing clean and slightly bittersweet.
