ANTINORI – Solaia 2021 (Magnum 1.5L)
Tuscany, Italy
Marchesi Antinori Solaia 2021 is one of Italy’s most iconic Super Tuscan wines, produced at the renowned Tenuta Tignanello estate in the heart of Chianti Classico. The wine comes from the historic Solaia vineyard, whose name means “the sunny one,” reflecting its exceptional sun exposure and ideal growing conditions.
The 2021 vintage is widely regarded as an outstanding year in Tuscany, producing wines with remarkable concentration, balance, and structure. The blend typically combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Franc, marrying Tuscan elegance with the depth and complexity of Bordeaux varieties.
Presented here in magnum (1.5L), the larger format allows the wine to age more slowly and gracefully, often developing greater complexity and longevity compared to standard bottles.
Deep ruby with violet reflections. The nose reveals aromas of blackcurrant, ripe blackberry, and dark cherry, layered with notes of violet, tobacco, graphite, sweet spice, and subtle oak. The palate is powerful yet refined, offering flavours of dark fruit, cocoa, cedar, and Mediterranean herbs, supported by polished tannins and vibrant acidity, finishing long, elegant, and complex.
