A beautifully expressive Premier Cru Chablis combining ripe Chardonnay fruit with the freshness, minerality and precision that define the wines of Chablis.
The 2023 Beauroy is broader and more generous than a classic village Chablis, offering ripe citrus, pear and delicate floral notes over a distinctly mineral backbone. Its south-facing vineyard and mature vines give the wine additional depth and concentration while retaining excellent freshness.

Beauroy is one of Chablis' Premier Cru vineyards and produces a more substantial and gastronomic expression of Chardonnay.
At Domaine Alain Geoffroy, the wine comes from mature vines approximately 30–45 years old, planted on classic Kimmeridgian limestone soils with a full southern exposure.
Vinification and maturation take place in temperature-controlled tanks rather than oak, allowing the vineyard character to remain at the forefront.
The result is a Premier Cru that beautifully balances power and finesse, richness and freshness. It has considerably more depth than Petit Chablis or village Chablis while retaining the purity and mineral character that make the region so distinctive.
The 2023 vintage produced an expressive and approachable style of Chablis, with ripe fruit, generous texture and refreshing acidity.
In Beauroy, the combination of mature vines and southern exposure gives the wine excellent concentration, with ripe citrus and orchard fruit complemented by floral and mineral nuances.
The 2023 is already attractive in its youth but has sufficient structure and acidity to develop additional complexity over several years in bottle.
Drink now – 2033+
The wine is already showing beautifully, particularly for those who enjoy the freshness and energy of young Chablis.
Over the next several years, expect the primary citrus and orchard-fruit character to develop toward more complex notes of honey, hazelnut, dried citrus and subtle savoury minerality.
Serving Temperature:
10–12°C as an aperitif
12–14°C with food
For a more gastronomic experience, allow the wine to warm slightly in the glass rather than serving it excessively cold.
The additional richness and structure of Premier Cru Beauroy make this particularly versatile at the table.
Excellent with:
Oysters · Scallops · Langoustines · Lobster · Crab · Turbot · Dover Sole · Sea Bass · Roast Chicken · Veal · Creamy Seafood Dishes · Chaource · Langres · Époisses
Pair with langoustines, seared scallops or turbot with a light butter sauce.
Unlike a lighter Petit Chablis, Beauroy has enough depth and texture to accompany richer preparations. Its combination of ripe Chardonnay fruit, refreshing acidity and Chablis minerality makes it particularly impressive with lobster, creamy seafood dishes or roast poultry.
